FAQ
Questions before depositing
How does Cexvia rate crypto exchanges?
Cexvia evaluates regulatory standing, corporate transparency, asset transparency, security history, and operations and user protection. Coverage, confidence and redline events are shown separately.
Does registration mean an exchange is fully licensed?
No. A company, AML, money-service or payment registration may cover only specific activities. Every record must be matched to its legal entity, jurisdiction and permitted scope.
Does proof of reserves prove solvency?
No. Proof of reserves may show control of certain assets but may not disclose complete customer liabilities, off-chain obligations or asset encumbrances.
What does Moderate Risk mean?
It means verified strengths coexist with material limitations or unresolved evidence gaps. It is not a guarantee of safety.
How often is the data updated?
Operational signals may be checked frequently. Regulatory, entity, reserve and incident records follow source availability and show their latest verification date.
Can an exchange pay to improve its rating?
No. Commercial relationships or data submissions do not change scoring rules or suppress verified negative evidence.
